Stories that stay with me
Anime, manga, light novels, and visual novels are the media I return to most. Your Name, Your Lie in April, and Attack on Titan were early entry points, but what keeps me interested is psychological storytelling.
I am drawn to stories that take character motivation seriously: why someone makes a choice, how their past shapes it, and how that decision affects the people around them. I especially like narratives about identity, isolation, influence, and the tension between capability and connection.
When a story really lands, I do not just move on. I look for other interpretations and sit with the questions it raised. The best stories make private thought patterns visible and give me another perspective on how people relate to one another.
